Paras Kalnawat played Samar in Rupali GangulYes‘s show Anupamaa. His sudden departure left fans shocked. On his Instagram account, Paras stated that working on the show was a nightmare. Later, the production house claimed that Paras Kalnawat had breached the contract and that is why it was terminated. On the other hand, the actor claimed that he didn’t even get a chance to explain himself. Later, actor Sagar Parekh was brought on board by the makers to play Samar in Anupamaa.
Sagar Parekh talks about replacing Paras Kalnawat
In a recent interview, Sagar Parekh opened up about the challenges he faced as a Samar in Anupamaa. He stated that there was a lot of pressure on him because the fans of Paras Kalnawat were not happy that he was Samar. However, he also stated that the public has accepted him as Samar and he is happy with the result. “I’m glad people loved me, accepted me and appreciated the way I played the part. Of course Paras fans won’t be too happy since he was replaced by me, but I’m glad the audience accepted me. That’s the main validation for me as an actor,” he said as reported by Bollywood Hungama.
Furthermore, Sagar Parekh drew similarities between him and his on-screen character. He stated that in real life he is a mother’s child, just like Samar in Anupamaa.
Paras in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10
Paras Kalnawat on the other hand is soon to be seen in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10. He has signed up for the dance reality show and is getting ready to give his best performance.
