After the debacle of Zero (2018), Shah Rukh Khan went into a long introspection mode and took a lot of time to decide on his next project. Bollywood Hungama was one of the first to break the news in October 2019 that he is in talks with South director Atlee for an action movie. This movie, later titled jawanwas signed by Shah Rukh followed by Yash Raj Films’ Pathan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunkic. ‘s shoot Pathan is over and would be the first to be released on January 25, 2013. jawan was set to hit theaters on June 2 and Dunkic on December 22 next year.

As the shooting is in the final stages, Shah Rukh Khan once found out that he started reading scripts for his films due to be released in 2024. And again, he is very careful and takes the time to choose the suitable project.
A source told Bollywood Hungama“Shah Rukh Khan was offered Thurs 3. However, he turned it down.”
Thurs 3 is one of the most anticipated sequels. The first two parts were hits and fans loved Shah Rukh Khan in the role of a tough, stylish criminal. The source continued: “It’s not that Shah Rukh Khan didn’t like the script. It’s just that Shah Rukh wasn’t fully convinced. He knows Don is an iconic role and would love to get back into the character when he’s completely sure.” The screenplay at the box office isn’t very healthy and he wants to be doubly sure before signing on the dotted line.”
The source added: “As of now, Farhan Akhtar has gone back to the drawing board and we can only hope that the next time he meets SRK, the superstar is happy to draw Thurs 3. The fans would be over the moon. When the speculation surrounding the movie sparked so much rage, just imagine what would happen the day the makers announced it Thurs 3!”
