The South Korean actor will soon be getting married. The Roundup star, who is now engaged, shared his wedding plans in a heartfelt letter shared online.

According to the Korean media portal Soompi, the actor took to Instagram on September 2 to personally announce that he was engaged. In addition to sharing a beautiful photo from his wedding shoot, Heo Dong Won, translated by Soompi, shared, “Hello, this is Heo Dong Won. Thank you for always encouraging me and showing an interest in me.”
He continued, “I should have announced this good news in person first, before someone else, so I’m sorry you had to find out through news reports. Since there is still a lot of time left [until the wedding]I’m a little wary of making this announcement so early, but I’d appreciate it if you send us your heartfelt interest and support.”
“My parents were always afraid that I would take the precious daughter of another family home and make her suffer, but I met someone who volunteered to help with that suffering,” he wrote. “I ask you to encourage myself, who will become the husband of a beautiful family, and my bride-to-be, who will become the dearest friend of my life.”
The letter further read: “As an actor who always gives his best on the film set with a sincere heart, I will work hard to bring you joy, happiness and laughter through my acting, a job that I really love. I will always try approaching you with positive energy, without forgetting my initial mindset from the beginning of my career.”
He concluded the letter with the words: “Finally, I pray that you all will be healthy and happy, and I will never forget my gratitude and gratitude. [towards you all] as I live my life. Thank you.”
