When filmmaker Karan Johar was with Phone Bhoot’s star cast in the latest episode of Koffee With Karan, he managed to provide a lot of information about their personal lives. From Katrina Kaif who confesses that Vicky was never on her ‘radar’ for her Phone Bhoot co-stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter leave us in crevices; the episode was epic of its own kind.
Ishaan Khatter takes Karan Johar’s drilling and grilling lesson from Ananya Pandey; says: ‘You were quite mean to her’
However, the episode also sheds some light on Ishaan Khatter’s love affair with his Khaali Peelic co-star Ananya Pandey. Interestingly, Ananya was also on the chat show couch before Ishaan this season. In the episode, Ananya confirmed that the duo was indeed in a relationship.
The Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham director tried to get more details about the breakup of Ananya and Ishaan but in vain as the latter had a witty response for him. In the episode, Ishaan turned the table and scolded Johar for being “mean” to Ananya. Johar asked Ishaan, ‘So you broke up with Ananya recently…’ Ishaan retorted, ‘Did I do that? You told Ananya she was breaking up. I did see that episode. You were quite mean to her. You were drilling and grilling…’
Although the 50-year-old director-producer tried to defend himself, his failed attempts left Katrina Kaif dumbfounded. As the episode progressed, Karan asked who broke up with whom, to which Ishaan replied, “Who cares, who broke up with whom? I’m single, that’s true.”
however, the Student of the year 2 said actor did not stop there. During the rapid-fire round, Ishaan was asked about what he missed most about his ex. In his response, he replied, “Everything. She’s a sweetheart. But it’s for the better.”
