The recent release of SS Rajamouli starrer RRR turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema. The film starring Ram Charan and Junior NTR, along with Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn playing pivotal roles, impressed not only Indian audiences but Hollywood celebrities as well. Besides RRR, other films by director SS Rajamouli will also be screened at the Beyond Fest in the United States.

SS Rajamouli movies including: RRR will be featured in a segment called Tollywood to Hollywood at the American Film Festival. In an official statement on the Beyond Fest website, the festival authorities have confirmed the screening of Rajamouli films. The statement read: “Beyond Fest 2022 – Launching with an incredibly rare IMAX presentation of the global phenomenon RRR at the world famous TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, From Tollywood to Hollywood: The Spectacle & Majesty of SS Rajamouli also includes an epic nine-hour , ultra marathon inclusive ega, Baahubali: the beginning and Baahubali 2: The conclusion with SS Rajamouli in person for a career spanning Q&A, and special screenings of Magadheera and Maryada Ramanna. All films will be presented in their native language Telugu with English subtitles, and intermissions will be observed as originally intended by the filmmaker. SS Rajamouli will also guest program for the ‘Sunday Print Edition’ of the American Cinematheque in Los Feliz 3 and introduce a black and white 35mm screening of Charlie Chaplain’s 1931 silent classic, city lights.”
