How She-Hulk Acknowledges the Movie’s End

Spoiler Warning: MCU’s Eternals

The MCU finally has the end of Eternals. And this time it was us who didn’t notice. Many Marvel fans have wondered how long it would be before there would be an earth-shattering ending… Eternals to influence the Marvel universe. It’s been a long time. And since then, a lot of big MCU movies have been released that behave like Eternals didn’t even exist. Perhaps Eternals wasn’t the most popular MCU movie, but it certainly wasn’t one to ignore. Fans have wondered if Marvel executives were just trying to sweep the movie under the rug and pretend it never happened.

However, Eternals had many consequences. It came with easter eggs and post-credits scenes that had a resounding effect on the MCU. From a hint to the introduction of Sheet to bring Kit Harington into the MCU as a possible Black Knight. Even though we haven’t seen Harington’s skin or hair since, Sheet definitely happens. So you might wonder if Marvel was picking and which things to point out and which to ignore. And that’s just not fair to the fans.

But finally Marvel, however small, has the end of… Eternals. It may not have been the massive response we wanted, but we accept it.

What happened in Eternals?

Eternals is an MCU movie about, as the title suggests, the Eternals. They are a group of immortal beings, crafted by the Celestials, sent to Earth to protect its sentient life from beings called Deviants. The Celestials are ancient galactic entities that roam the universe, consciously observing, categorizing, and harvesting life. They are gigantic and extremely powerful. We’ve seen them a few times before in the MCU. One already appeared while we were still learning about Infinity Stones in the first Guardians of the Universe. We recently saw two in Thor: Love and Thunderwhen Thor escaped from Omnipotence City.

But when Eternals really introduced us to who the Celestials were and what they were up to, we learned that the Eternals were meant to protect planets with living life on them, so that the Celestials could eventually do something called the Emergence. The Eternals protected the earth because deep within the core of the earth there was an incubating celestial body, preparing to emerge as soon as the sentient life of the earth generated enough cosmic energy to create the celestial. Of course, once this Ascension took place, the Heavenly, which was as great as it was, would simply break out of the earth as if it were an egg. The entire planet and everything on it would be destroyed, and what you would be left with would be a new celestial being.

But the Eternals didn’t want this to happen. They had become so fond of the people of the Earth that, when they discovered the purpose of the heavenly beings and the consequences of its rise, they decided to do everything they could to stop it. Now it’s nearly impossible to kill a Celestial, but Sersi’s alchemical skills allowed her to turn the near-born Celestial completely into marble. So now there’s a giant marble statue of a Celestial sticking out of the Indian Ocean.

A little Easter egg in She-Hulk

Overall, the failed rise doesn’t have much lasting impact on the Marvel universe, other than, again, Earth hasn’t been horribly, catastrophically destroyed. But nevertheless, there is a massive marble celestial body that reaches far into the stratosphere from the depths of the ocean. You think someone noticed.

But none of the Marvel projects since then Eternals said something about it. Which is fine; all the other superheroes are usually pretty busy saving the world in their own way. But finally, we’ve seen our first sign of at least some sort of credit from another MCU project saying, “Hey, this happened.” And it came from who else then? She-Hulk.

One of the most connected superheroes in the MCU, She-Hulk regularly sees other heroes and villains in her series, usually in court. And She-Hulk showed us all that, yes there is indeed a giant thing sticking out of the ocean through a clickbait article. But we were all too busy looking to the other sidelines to even notice. Granted, the other confirmed Wolverine’s existence in the MCU, but the Eternals are also important, bub.

The little clickbait headline said “Why is there a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean” so we know the people of Earth-616 are at least aware of this huge 400-ton statue jutting out into the ocean. sky. Will the MCU be making any other jokes about the world covering up this big event? It looks like something Deadpool would do. We’ll just have to wait.
