Bigg Boss 15 fame Donal Bisht is no stranger to trolls. Like many actresses, Donal has also had her share of brutal criticism when she first posted her bikini photos on social media. In her interview with News18, Donal said she was very new to the industry and didn’t know that posting a photo in a bikini would make her a novelty. “It happened to me. I posted a bikini pic four years ago when I was doing TV. I had no idea it would be blown out of proportion and in the news all over. The next day when I woke up and saw it all over, I thought, ‘What have I done? I did nothing’.” Also Read – Trending OTT News Today: Aashram actress Aaditi Pohankar gels with Aaditya Thackeray, The Girl from Plainville release date and more

After the incident, Donal realized that being a public figure comes with a huge responsibility and it leaves a kind of impression on the people who admire you. She has now become careful about what she does as she thinks she is a social personality and should become a good idol for her fans who see her as their mentor. When Donal was asked about negative comments about her bikini photos, she said it was the first time in her life that she had been brutally trolled online. “People were tagging my parents too. My mom called me. But of course it depends on what kind of photo it was. I won’t do anything that isn’t appropriate to post,” she said.

While Donal thinks wearing a bikini isn’t wrong, what you wear and how you present it makes a huge difference. Since the incident, Donal has refrained from sharing bikini photos on social media. She added that she has now become accustomed to trolling on social media and no longer affects her mental calm. “People say what they want. I get mostly positive reactions, so I focus on that,” she concluded.
