Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra remains stable at the checkout on weekdays. Early estimates say the film is in the range of €10.35 to 11.35 crores on Wednesday, bringing the total six-day collection to about Rs. $161 million. The film closes its opening week at collections of Rs. 170 crores, which is the highest for a Bollywood movie in pandemic times.

The film is doing exceptionally well in the three national chains – PVR, INOX and CINEPOLIS – while mass bands show bigger drops than usual across the board. Despite the declines on weekdays, the total week a total of Brahmastra will be strong, especially due to the exceptional run in the opening weekend. Brahmastra does it like a Hollywood movie, doing well on the weekend but constantly dropping during the week.

Given the trend so far, the 2ndweekend jump is expected to show a big jump. Brahmastra will focus on a weekend of at least Rs. 35 crores, and with it the Rs. 200 crore club in just 10 days. Word of mouth has been mixed and if the conversation was positive, Rs. A 300 crore lifespan would have been a cinch given the pre-release hype and anticipation.

From the Rs. 161 crore, Brahmastra has clocked in at around Rs. 142 crores in Hindi and another Rs. 19 crores of South Indian dubbed versions. It is the trend in the 2nd weekend that the lifetime collections of . will determine Brahmastra.
