Late Night host mock Mike Lindell’s phone seized

Mike Lindell reportedly had his phone confiscated by the FBI this week at a Hardee’s in Minnesota. And apparently, the host of television’s late-night show couldn’t stop making fun of the situation on Wednesday.

“Welcome to Hardy, you have a right to shut up,” joked Stephen Colbert, while Jimmy Fallon greeted Lindell. The “Tonight Show” host said, “I’m not sure you want to go to prison known as the MyPillow guy.”

The phone seizure relates to an investigation by a Colorado county clerk accused of tampering with voting machines.

Lindell revealed details about the situation during a interview with abc news On Tuesday, explaining that three cars full of FBI agents cut him into the parking lot of a fast food joint and issued a search warrant. Lindell told ABC News that he is “not afraid of going to jail” as he is trying to “save” the country.

Jimmy Fallon

Fallon mocked Lindell’s video of what had happened, joking, “I can’t believe anyone paid $800 for this on a cameo.” But really, the “Tonight Show” host had a good laugh at the drive-thru aspect of things during his monologue, imagining what the exchange between Lindell and the speaker box must have been like when the FBI arrived.

“So that’s a burger, have a drink, and step out of the car please sir,” Fallon mimicked.

In the end, though, Fallon offered some good luck for the CEO. “Good luck Mike Lindell – I’m not sure you want to go to jail for being known as the MyPillow guy,” Fallon joked.

Stephen Colbert

Like Fallon, Colbert got a kick out of imagining what came through the speaker at the drive-thru to Lindell.

“Welcome to Hardy, you have a right to shut up,” Colbert joked. “Everything you say will be used against you in court, but you have the right to a lawyer, and you can pick them up from the window, please pull around.”

But Colbert also respected Lindell’s claim that he ran all of his companies with cell phones taken over by the FBI.

“He drives everything with his cell phone? Is he selling pillows or meth?” Colbert joked. “Hearing him talk, it’s hard to tell.” He added, “It’s not a great defense, Mike. ‘Officer you can’t take my car, how am I going to get all these dead bodies in the river?’

Seth Meyers

Meyers also got in on the action. But instead of imagining what the actual arrest looked like, the “Late Night” host simply marveled at what pulled the seizure into Hardy in the first place.

“It’s so fitting that they stopped Lindell in Hardy because, when you think about it, Hardy would be a more accurate name for MyPillo,” joked Meyers.

But, there was another reason why serving Lindell at Hardy meant so much to Meyers.

“It’s also great because Lindell’s regular speaking volume is everyone’s orders-within-a-drive-thru volume,” he said. From there, Meyers busted his Lindell impression, improvising that the rest of the CEO was recounting the story it might have looked like.

Meanwhile, Kimmel has some questions about the setting chosen for this encounter. “Maybe you were in an episode of ‘Manakato Vice,’ we don’t know,” he joked.

But more seriously, he really wanted to know the circumstances that led the FBI to cut Lindell into Hardy.

“Like, was the FBI following him, or did they just say, ‘You know, after all, he’s going to go to Hardy, we’ll just wait here,'” he thought. “I think the FBI followed him for a few days and eventually stopped him in what could have made the funniest title, which was Hardy’s. And I commend him for that.”

Kimmel was also laughed at by Hardy’s tweet after the seizure, joking that fans should try his “pillow biscuits.”
