Of Iron Man kick off Phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2008, countless superheroes began to find a whole new lease of life as they were plucked from print and brought to life on the big screen. For over a decade, die-hard comic book fans, along with regular moviegoers, would be awed to witness heroic characters deliver huge feats in movie theaters around the world. An exciting conclusion then came about in Phase 3 with Avengers: Endgame, which was released in April 2019.

Silence before the storm

Plenty of new characters were introduced, with Shang-Chi and The Eternals popping up in their own solo films. As its name implies, this evil variant now uses every technological weapon from the past, present and future to conquer many timelines and planets.
MCU’s Phase 5 A-Team
Since the Avengers have now been broken up (some even sacrifice themselves for the greater good), Phase 4 has a responsibility not only to bring new Marvel characters to the fore to confront this threat, but also to empower the public. to show that these newcomers can fill their shoes with those of the past. Thanks to a now-deleted post from the Latin America-based Disney website, we now know the Marvel heroes who will reportedly be pushed into more important and prominent roles as the MCU moves forward.
The former name was that of Hailee Steinfeld Kate Bishop. Bishop was trained by Clint Barton herself when she debuted in the Disney Plus miniseries hawkeye. Since she’s already battling the likes of Echo, Kingpin, and Black Widow’s younger sister, Yelena Belova, it’s no surprise that she’ll inevitably take more prominence in the coming stages of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
A deaf martial artist who premiered in the second half of hawkeye, Echo is also on the short list of characters that will supposedly take on a more urgent position as the MCU evolves. Maya Lopez will stop at nothing to exact revenge on Kingpin, the man who orchestrated her father’s murder. Her already established connection to other Marvel characters, as well as the fact that she’s getting her own solo Disney Plus show in 2023shows that she is definitely someone to look forward to.
At first glance, 16 year old Kamala Khan is like any teen idolizing a polarizing public figure. For Khan, Captain Marvel is that unique source of inspiration. She suddenly becomes like her idol when she finds familial bracelets, which give her superhuman abilities. As the first Pakistani hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Khan fights not only against jinns from another world, but also against an agency that suppresses superhumans called Damage Control. Considering that Ms. Marvel is the show introducing the concept of mutants to the MCU, there’s no question why she’ll be taking on a bigger role in the future.
the much loved one daredevil is also in this prestigious ranking. Matt Murdock lasted three seasons, even before the MCU was made formal, Matt Murdock was already very much on his own Netflix show. After Disney bought Marvel, Murdock made a cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home and has an upcoming role in She-Hulk: Lawyer. It will premiere in Spring 2024 and also has its own Disney Plus show. Whether he’s just starring in street-level feats or taking part in multiverse storylines, long-standing fans of his can’t wait to see the devil return from the kitchen of hell.
The most surprising hero to get this unique one spotlight is iron heart. While MCU enthusiasts barely know much about this hero or her lineage until now, Riri Williams’ character will be the spiritual successor to the now-deceased Tony Stark. She makes her debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Since the film already looks set to be a huge success, she will have no trouble finding her place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
