‘Cobra Kai’ Team Isn’t Involved in New Mystery ‘Karate Kid’ Movie

Despite some speculation, the producers of “Cobra Kai” are not involved in the upcoming “Karate Kid” film.

“Cobra Kai” creator Jon Hurwitz responded on Twitter on Saturday to a fan who asked if he had heard anything about the new film, which has been teased as a return to the original “Karate Kid” franchise. He was quick to explain that he really had nothing to do with the movies, but wished him well.
