NBCU’s Shari Levine exits as head of Unscripted Production

Shari Levine is stepping down from her longtime position as president of NBCUniversal’s current production of Unscripted and will instead move into a non-exclusive consulting role, TheWrap has confirmed.

In her new role, Levine will continue to work on some of the programming she had previously seen, including “Below Deck”. She will also introduce new ideas to the company’s network.

In his place, Noah Samton will step into an expanded role as the East Coast head for the current production of Unscripted Lifestyle. Kathleen French and Ryan Flynn will split oversight of West Coast’s current production team. The trio will report to NBCU’s television and streaming head of Unscripted, Rod Aisa.

In her 23 years with the network as both an executive and Emmy-nominated producer, Shari has played an integral role in producing and producing high-quality original programming and developing the Bravo brand. His creative vision was a driving force behind the success of the “Housewives,” “Below Deck” and “Million Dollar Listing” franchises, as well as the launch of Project Runway and hundreds of hours or so of original content for Bravo, and more recently entertainment .
