“I feel it when I hit the road,” Shore said of the nostalgia fans feel for his classic films, per screen frenzy. “When I’m touring, I feel people’s hearts because they look at me like they remember a good time. When they see me, they say, ‘Man, Pauly Shore. We really had fun with that guy.’ And now, because of the world and what’s going on, everybody’s a little bit tense with these phones, and everybody has this kind of eggshell feeling around them, so people look at me, and they see that time as freedom and no filter. It’s great.”

On how his movies are still appreciated by the fans, regardless of any negative reviews they got at the time, Shore added: “I mean those movies, people can joke about them, the industry or whatever, but they have been putting food on my table for years and make people happy there’s a huge crowd that really enjoys that… It was a moment when I hit where MTV was the hottest in the world when everyone watching MTV and me was there. I was young, and it was great. It was pretty cool. It was a fun run.”
