Singer Neha Kakkar recently released her new song O Sajna which is a remake of the iconic 90’s Maine Payal Hai Chhankai song by singer Falguni Pathak. The song features Neha along with Dhanashree Verma and Priyank Sharma. However, Netizens are not happy with the singer’s latest song. People have brutally criticized Neha for “ruining their youth” by recreating the iconic song.
“Har song ka sataya nas krne ki kasam kha rkhi h in logo nay,” one Instagram user responded to Neha Kakkar’s post, while another user wondered, “Why would you do this to FALGUNI PATHAK??” There were also a few people who tagged TSeries and asked them, “Why are you ruining the beautiful songs?” Although Neha’s fans liked it, there were many people who scolded the singer for ruining their childhood memory.

The track O Sajna was recently launched with much fanfare by Neha Kakkar at a major college festival in Mumbai. She said she loved singing and filming the music video. She said the song is fun, energetic and lively and she was convinced that people would love it.
Directed by Vijay Singh and composed and developed by Bosco Leslie Martis and produced by T-Series, the song marks a collaboration between Neha Kakkar, composer Tanishk Bagchi and lyricist Jaani.
On the other hand, Dhanashree Verma had the best experience shooting for O Sajna with Neha. She tagged the singer as “sister” on set. “Hopefully that our band will be reflected in our on-screen dynamics,” she said. For Priyank Sharma, O Sajna brought back as many memories for him as he remembered listening to it as a child.
