Shah Rukh Khan recently took to social media to announce that his interior designer and producer wife Gauri Khan is making her digital debut with an upcoming reality-style show called Dream houses. It is a six episode show where Gauri will give a makeover to the homes of some of the most popular Bollywood celebrities. The first guest is the popular fashion designer Manish Malhotra who happens to be an old friend of Gauri Khan.

In a promo on the Mirchi website, Gauri Khan puts Manish Malhotra’s design skills to the test by asking him to design an outfit for her in just five minutes! Gauri throws this challenge on Manish to keep him from interfering with her design process as she works to redesign an open space in his home. In this episode, Gauri Khan introduces viewers to her design process and transforms part of Manish’s house in just five days. Gauri also shares her professional tips with the public to make their homes stylish.
In this six-episode series, Gauri Khan gives an extravagant transformation to the homes of Manish Malhotra, Farah Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kabir Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Malaika Arora. Speaking about the show, Gauri said, “I am constantly exploring and broadening my interior design horizons through many associations and collaborations. What got me excited about this project is how beautifully the show explores the process of space- makeovers. Designing and bringing ideas to life has been a lifelong passion, so when Mirchi approached me with the concept of Dream Homes I was very excited and I am very excited about how it turned out. hosting the show for the first time, which is something completely new for me and I’m looking forward to it.”
Dream houses brings the latest trends and hacks in home decor while also revealing the behind-the-scenes madness of revamping the spaces for some of Bollywood’s most successful and creative minds. The first episode with Manish Malhotra appeared on September 16, exclusively on his YouTube channel – Mirchi Plus, Mirchi Plus mobile app. The show can also be seen on Colors Infinity SD & HD, starting October 2, every Sunday at 9 p.m. and Mirchi Plus YT channel every Friday.
