Another new “Star Wars” series is coming soon, but “Endor” is unlike anything we’ve seen before. This new series, set several years before the events of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” is devoid of Jedi, Sith or bounty hunters and instead focuses on regular, working-class people who ignite a rebellion led by Let’s spark to – until the events of George Lucas’ iconic “A New Hope.”

He is a cynic, and is searching for his long-lost sister after their homeland was destroyed years ago.
But a run-in with two guards puts Cassian on a collision course with the Empire in surprising ways, and the series chronicles his journey first to survive, and then to be part of a movement.
“Endor” is run by Oscar-nominated writer Tony Gilroy, who notably came on “Rogue One” and led the reenactment. It is also the first live-action “Star Wars” series not to use the Stagecraft “Volume” technology which provides the CG background and atmosphere for shows such as “The Mandalorian” and “Obi-Wan Kenobi”.
But perhaps the most exciting thing is that ‘Endor’ is a close-ended story. Production begins for the 12-episode second season in November, which will end just before the events of “Rogue One” begin, so we can trace Cassian’s entire journey to his final few days to help steal the Death Star plans. chart to do.
