South Indian Actor Dulquer Salman has been around for a decade now, has been part of several hits and has seen its popularity grow by leaps and bounds, especially among the Malayalam cinema public, but to some extent also in the rest of the country. That said, we still haven’t seen it so all those big pan-Indian movies like others south stars like Allu Arjun, Prabhs, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, yash to have. Even his latest blockbuster, Sita Ramamwas only a Telugu release. So, what could be the reason? Well you don’t have to guess why if Dulquer has now himself answered the million dollar question.

BollywoodLife recently sat down for a exclusive interview with the cast of the upcoming psychological thriller, chup, when we took a detour from the movie at hand and put Dulquer Salmaan on the hot seat about the chance that fans would finally see him and Mammootty come together on screen in Bilal, which he also produces by the way. While Dulquer didn’t hold back from divulging the information, unfortunately it wasn’t what we were hoping to hear.

Dulquer Salmaan said he’s also heard rumors that he and Mammootty are sharing screen space in Bilal, but don’t know where they started. He added that the writer and director would be the right people to comment on this as it can only happen if the script needs it, as the film is a sequel to his father’s very successful film ( Big B), and emphasized that while it’d be great if it happened, it only needs to take place when it needs to.
