Her statement also stated that the scammer tried to hit on the Kick actress and even offered her Rs. 3 crores to buy clothes and accessories according to Jacqueline’s brand preferences, to gift Fernandez. At the same time, she also claimed that Jacqueline cut all ties with the scammer when he was arrested for his crimes
The same confirmed an EOW official: “He contacted Ellawadi last year to find out what brands and types of clothes Fernandez preferred. He took suggestions from her and also handed her Rs 3 crore to buy her favorite clothes. full amount that Chandrashekhar received was spent by Ellawadi to buy gifts for Fernandez.
Talking about the case, Jacqueline Fernandez was accused of being in a relationship with scammer Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is involved in the Rs. 200 crore extortion case despite knowing of his nefarious activities. But the actress has claimed in her statements that she was not aware of his crimes when she was in contact with him. The actress has been accused of receiving gifts worth Rs. 7 crores and in addition, the Enforcement Directorate also claimed that the Fernandez family also has financial assistance from Sukesh.
