Godfather will bring two megastars of India – Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan – together on the big screen for the first time. The two were recently danced together in the spicy song ‘Thaar Maar’ from the highly anticipated action entertainer Godfather directed by Mohan Raja. With the film’s release approaching, it has been submitted for censorship certification and the CBFC has approved it with a U/A certificate (children accompanied by adults).

In fact, delighted with the completion of the censorship formalities, the creators have also released the Censor poster featuring the protagonist Chiranjeevi. A source close to the film confirmed the developments, adding: “The film will have a lot of action and we are pleased that it has been U/A certified by the officials. Meanwhile, the film’s censorship formalities have been completed and all obstacles to release have been removed. In fact, excited about it all, the creators decided to release this censorship poster featuring Chiranjeevi in his famous salt pepper look from the movie.
For the uninitiated, Godfather Chiranjeevi will be in an intense role and will be seen for the first time in a salt-and-pepper look.
Comes to the cast, Godfather also stars Nayanthara, Satya Dev, Sunil and Samuthirakani play a central role in the film with Salman Khan also playing a major role in the film. For the uninitiated, the film is a remake of the Malayalam entertainer Match with superstar Mohanlal. RB Choudary and NV Prasad produced it under the banner of Konidela Productions and Super Good Films, while Konidela Surekha will present it. While Nirav Shah is the cinematographer, Suresh Selvarajan is the art director.
Godfather is slated for a major release in Telugu and Hindi on the occasion of Dussehra and will be released on October 5th.
