Now, after many fan theories about a third installment in the pipeline, actor Nikhil Siddhartha has confirmed that the creators are indeed considering advancing the film franchise with Karthikeya 3.

In an interview with India Today, Nikhil Siddhartha confirmed about: Karthikeya 3 standing on the cards and saying, “Yeah, with everyone’s blessings, we plan to make Karthikeya 3. This time is also more exciting because we plan to make the movie in 3D.” The news certainly comes as a treat to fans who have been wondering what lies ahead for Karthikeya in the third installment. Audiences, having seen the sequel, would be aware that at the film’s climax, Nikhil is holding a key further speculating about another movie in the making. But it looks like fans are in for a treat for the third movie with the 3D announcement.
For the uninitiated, the Karthikeya movie franchise explores the journey of Nikhil’s character trying to solve some intriguing mysteries of the world. While the first film, which was released in 2014, revolved around a closed Karthikeya temple in the village of Subrahmanyapuram that catches the attention of a medical student named Karthik. After multiple incidents of snake bites around the place, he decides to investigate the mystery surrounding the temple. Seven years after the prequel, Karthikeya returns as a researcher who goes on a mission in Dwaraka to find the lost anklet of Lord Krishna. The type of theme is yet to be seen Karthikeya 3 going to explore.
