‘Dead to Me’ final season hits Netflix this November (VIDEO)

netflix released trailer for the third and final season of “Dead to Me” as part of their TODAY fan event, announcing that the final episodes of the series will be released on November 17th.

The series, starring Christina Applegate, Linda Cardellini and James Marsden, is on a two-year standstill as its second season is delayed thanks to production delays in both the COVID-19 pandemic and Applegate’s multiple sclerosis diagnosis, which it announced last year.

Now, the new trailer teases a pickup from where Season 2 left off, with Jane Hardling and Judy Hale in their damaged SUV after being hit by a drunk Ben Wood. Ben had discovered that Jane was lying about the whereabouts of his brother and Jane’s former fiancé, Steve, whom he angrily murdered at the end of Season 1.

Now, with Ben closer to the truth, Jane must confront the musical about her actions while reconciling with Judy. “I know you think you’re the cause of all our problems,” Jane writes to Judy in a likely farewell letter. “But they were there long before we met … and I’m so glad we met.”
