The passengers of Montego Air Flight 828, which went missing five and a half years ago as if no time had passed, have an expiration date of June 2, 2024.

“I had a calling, it was terrible,” Ben tells his sister Michaela at the beginning of the trailer. “Everything was swallowed up by the ashes.”

The trailer follows Ben as he swipes his finger across the dusty (or ash) desktop, before snapping a shot of a volcano ready to erupt.

“The 828 was not an accident,” Michaela tells her brother. “Together we have to save the passengers.”

Scientist Saanvi Behl (Parveen Kaur), who was also a missing, miraculously returned passenger on that fateful flight, reminds everyone of the impending death, encouraging them to follow every lead.

Then, an old Cal Stone (Tie Doran) voice cuts through, explaining how two years ago he touched the tail fin of the missing plane and disappeared again. He came back five years older – the age difference between him and his twin sister Olive (Luna Blaise), which also matches the magnitude of the plane’s disappearance.

“I need to remember what happened,” he says in the recently released clip.

The trailer features shots of Dria Mikami (Ellen Tamaki), Adrien (Jared Grimes), Zeke (Matt Long) Sanvi and Troy Davis (Ed Herbstman) intermixed with the title slide reading: “Travellers make their final connection. Truth Seek out, determine your destiny.”

“We didn’t fly into the storm,” says Michaela. “It flew into us. It chose us.”
