Actress Ananya Panday has been quite successful bollywood innings in her short run so far, all things considered. her debut film, Student of the year 2despite all the negative reviews and subpar word of mouth, an ‘above average’ rating by the theater box officewhile her second outing, Pati Patni Aur Woho, was a certified hit and a few of her detractors, both within the film critics and the public, were warm to her. After this followed her two OTT movies, Khaali Peelic and Gehraiyan were well received. Her only real setback to date was her latest release, liger – a pan-Indian movie, not even an out-an-out one bollywood movie necessarily.

That said, Dad Chunky Panday has previously revealed in a exclusive interview with BollywoodLife why he was extremely afraid of Ananya‘s bollywood trip. In fact, the Housefull actor categorically told us that he never worried about his daughter carrying the label of a “star child” and the negativity that comes with it is like he said, “I never worried whether my name would be associated with her because let’s face it, I’m not that big of a star.”

Opening up about how anxious he was when Ananya Panday got the . had entered movie industryChunky Panday said: “I was afraid whether my daughter would be accepted or not (by the public). Every star’s child is accepted or not accepted. The public has to like the person and accept the person as if she is our girl , Ananya is a part of us, as a hero is accepted – he is our hero. Likewise, it should be as if she is our heroine.”

He reveals the one fear he had for Ananya’s Bollywood career for some time, chunky added: “I wanted her to be accepted and that was my only fear because so many come and some are accepted while others don’t. But luckily people liked her and accepted her after her performance – not only in her first movie (Student of the Year 2), but they also really appreciated her for her second movie, Pati Patni Aur Woh. So I keep telling her to do a good job and get people’s love because that’s the most important thing for an actor.”
