Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan took the internet by storm on Sunday, September 25 after he dropped a shirtless photo from the photoshoot for Pathan. Since June 2022 every month on the 25e, the creators have dropped some sort of content to keep the excitement high among the fans. Last Sunday was no different, although some may say that SRK practically broke the internet.

It turned out that SRK was quite shy as his team stared at him during the photo shoot. Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani took to her Instagram to share the same photo SRK had previously shared and captioned it as, “People will stare…which makes it worth it.”
SRK responded quickly: “Uh???? you were the ones who stared the most and embarrassed me and made me look like this…..@poojadadlani02 @anaitashroffadajania @tarun.vishwa @arunindulkar @raajluv @prashantsixpack @preetisheel.”
Stylist and Shah Rukh Khan’s longtime friend Anaita Shroff Adjani also left a comment: “And stare we did!” Make-up artist Preeti Sheel wrote, “Definitely worth it.”
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had used Silsila’s iconic dialogue as the caption for the photo, where Gauri Khan left a comment saying, “Oh God! Now he’s talking to his shirts too…..!!!!”
In June 2022, Shah Rukh Khan had hosted a live session on his Instagram due to his 30-year career in the film industry. Speaking to fans, he said: “When we started shooting… Pathan, it was very fun. It is an action movie with great co-actors Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Ashutosh Rana among others. It’s the kind of movie I’ve wanted to make for 30 years. I always saw myself as someone who can do cool action stuff. So I guess my impression is over Pathan is that what i really wanted to do when i first came to mumbai hopefully i achieved that in Pathan as an actor.”
He admitted he wanted to be an action hero in his twenties, but at 56 he is also enjoying the process. “I liked it. It’s fun to take action. It’s a little late (referring to his age). At 56 years old, I’m macho and solid and I’m trying to make it work. Siddharth and the whole action team have worked hard. Hopefully it works,” he laughs.
“I remember Siddharth telling me a lot of movies. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find the right time to work together for years. He had called this title Pathan with him. And he would tell me that, ‘Sir, maine movie ready kar li hai.’ One fine day, when we couldn’t work on the two scripts he shared, he sent me a sweet message that read, “I have this title. I couldn’t get a movie with you. Now please take the title and make a movie whenever you want,” said Shah Rukh Khan, revealing that Siddharth Anand came back to him with a new script. “The film has had a long journey. And soon you will all be able to see it,” he said.
Pathan has the biggest stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on January 25, 2023!
