Trevor Noah imagines a Darth Vader voiced by Donald Trump

James Earl Jones is retiring from the voice of Darth Vader and, even though Disney will use artificial intelligence to recreate his voice for future projects, Trevor Noah couldn’t help but imagine what if someone else did. What would it look like if he played the iconic voice role during Monday’s episode of “The Daily Show”.

Before jumping into the impressions, he joked: “You see? ‘The Little Mermaid turns black and they take James Earl Jones! I told you there would be a reaction!”

“I’m kidding,” he said, adding that he was “a little nervous” about the idea that artificial intelligence would be used to harness Jones’ voice.

“We think AI is going to take over the world, and now we’re going to teach it to use the dark side of the Force? Nobody thinks that’s a bad idea?” They said.

But, he had to admit that AI seemed like a better solution than bringing in someone else for the role, adding: “The last thing we need is they are opening up the role to other famous people. You know when they do this with roles and then it gets weird? Can you imagine Darth Vader voiced by someone else?”

Well, we don’t really need to fantasize, because Noah did it for us! He went on to give us impressions of Chris Rock, John Oliver, and Donald Trump voicing the “Star Wars” character.

As Chris Rock, he began: “Luke, I’m your father! But you can call me Uncle Darth until your mama shows me a paternity test.”

Noah then turned to fellow John Oliver late at night, saying: “And for our main story tonight, I’m your father. That’s right, Luke. I’m your daddy And yes, it bothers me as much as it bothers you, Luke.”

Last but not least, they got to go into a zinger about Donald Trump: “A lot of people are saying I’m your father, Luke. They’re saying they’ve never seen a better father, and they’re right.” I love all my kids. It’s you, it’s Ivanka, and that’s it.”
