So far, Fox’s “Monarch” is the season’s top-rated premiere, but NBC’s most shows in the top 10
After the first week, Fox’s new country series “Monarch” reigns as the ratings champion with a 0.91 in the demo. However, it’s certainly worth noting that the premiere followed a Sunday NFL doubleheader on September 11th, which undoubtedly boosted its ratings. When the series debuted its time slot with its second episode on Tuesday, September 20 at 9 p.m., it garnered just 0.21 in demos and 1.7 million total viewers.
NBC has by far the most-performing premieres of the entire “One Chicago” franchise as well, with “The Voice” and “Law & Order: SVU” all ranking in the top 10. In addition to “Monarch”, Fox had two other premieres in the top 10: “The Masked Singer” and “9-1-1.” CBS is the last, with only two shows managing to rank in the top 10 (“FBI” and “Survivor”). The CW has yet to debut any of its fall television slates.
