As the title indicates, Exorcism of my best friend is the story of two teenage besties Abby and Gretchen, and good demonic possession. But as is often the case, people grow up. And these girls aren’t really ten anymore. They are now teenagers traversing the high school minefield. And as if surviving high school wasn’t terrifying enough, this movie adds a new level of terror.
Things start to get weird for the two after what should be a night of teenage fun. And things get even hairier and scarier when Abby discovers that her best friend isn’t quite herself anymore. But teen drama isn’t the only thing that’s gotten under the good-hearted Gretchen’s skin, of course. And who else but a friend would recognize that your clothing choices aren’t the only thing that’s changed?
Something ominous has crept into Gretchen and is turning things around. However, Abby is not one to easily hand her boyfriend over. So she puts everything on the line. The good thing is that she doesn’t have to face evil alone. Christian Lemon, a man of faith, feels comfortable with what is happening and jumps aboard to help Abby. My Best Friend’s Exorcism: The Cast
No one denies that one of the crucial aspects of a film’s success is its cast. So Elsie Fisher takes the lead role in this movie as Abby Rivers. Fisher brings some experience. She was formerly cast in the 2022 Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the role of Lila. In addition, Amiah Miller has been tapped to play the role of Abby’s best friend Gretchen (The Possessed). Some may recognize Amiah Miller from the 2016 horror movie Lights out and War for the Planet of the Apes 2017.
But movies need more than well-cast leads to make a good impression. So, in My best friend’s exorcismThe cast is completed by Christopher Lowell (Christian Lemon), Cathy Ang (Glee Tanaka), and Rachel Ogechi Kanu (Margaret Chisolm).
