Amid the great success of Brahmastra, new producer-entrepreneur Alia Bhatt has decided to put another feather in her cap. After the launch of the Ed-A-Mamma brand, which was exclusively dedicated to children’s clothing, the mother-to-be has launched her maternity wear collection. In a recent post the actress shared announcing the launch of her maternity wear, she said she has modified her own clothes to be her maternity wear because she feels there hasn’t been enough research when it comes to maternity wear. At the recent Forbes event Tycoons of Tomorrow, where Alia Bhatt was one of the speakers, the actress spoke about the launch of this new collection.

At the recent Forbes event, Alia Bhatt opened up about her “investor” side, talking about her entrepreneurial skills and what prompted her to start her maternity line. “What started as a hole in my wardrobe turned out to be an entire maternity line,” she said. She also revealed that she wore her own maternity line during the event. “These are really comfortable lounge pants. It’s Ed-A-Mamma, maternity clothes. This was like a lounge set, but the layer made no sense. It seemed like I came to the lounge like a Forbes event. So I paired it with this blazer that isn’t mine. But that’s what I discovered! The maternity clothes were all a certain style that screamed maternity. I wanted to bring my own style into it and I did,” said the actress.
Speaking of her upcoming movies, Alia Bhatt is currently gearing up for the release of her Hollywood debut Heart of stone where she co-stars an ensemble cast including Gal Gadot. She also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh, in the pipeline. The actress is coming to Ed-A-Mamma and will launch the new maternity wear collection on October 1.
