Luke Evans action-thriller series November premiere date for Apple TV+, first look (pics)

“Echo 3,” the action thriller series from “Hurt Locker” creator Mark Boal and starring Luke Evans, Michelle Huisman and Jessica Ann Collins, will premiere on Apple TV+ this November.

The upcoming Apple TV+ drama begins Wednesday, November 23 with three episodes, with new episodes every Friday through January 13.

Set in South America, the series follows Amber Cheesborough (Collins), a brilliant young scientist who is the emotional heart of a small American family. When Amber goes missing on the Colombia-Venezuela border, her brother, Bambi (Evans), and her husband, Prince (Huisman) – two men with deep military experience and complicated pasts – struggle to find her in a layered personal drama. which is set against the explosive background of a secret war,” according to Apple’s logline.

The streamer also dropped several first look images on Friday.

‘Echo 3’ co-stars Martina Gusman as Violet, a prominent political columnist. James Udom, Maria Del Rosario, Alejandro Firth, Juan Pablo Raba and special guest star, Bradley Whitford are also part of the cast. “Echo 3” is based on the series “When Heroes Fly” created by Omri Givone, and inspired by the novel by Amir Gutfreund.

Boal is the showrunner, and is a director and executive producer with Keshet Studios’ Peter Trugot, Jason Horwich, Omri Givone, Eaton Mansouri, Jonathan Dovec, Mark Sorian, Avi Neer, Alon Schtruzman and Kearney Ziv. Pablo Trapero directed four episodes, including the pilot, and served as an executive producer.

The show was filmed in Colombia and features English and Spanish dialogue.

It is produced by Keshet Studios, the US production arm of Keshet International.
