‘The Masked Singer’ honors former contestant Bob Saget

There was no dry eye in the house after “The Masked Singer” honored Bob Saget during Wednesday’s episode.

This week’s episode was TV Theme Night, meaning each contestant performed the theme song of an iconic television show. A few TV icons were also on hand to help with the clues, including “Full House” alum Jodie Sweetin.

After The Mummies ended, the fortune teller and Harp went head to head in a battle royal, where they performed a melodious rendition of the “Full House” theme song, “Everywhere You Look.” The performance began with the fortune teller taking a more traditional approach, singing the song as we all remember it from our TV screens.

When the music slowed and the lights dimmed, Harp stepped in, things took a heartwarming turn. He sang the second half as a ballad, bringing so much emotion to the stage that it left the judges and the audience in tears.

Judge Ken Jeong referred to Saget’s own costume since appearing on Season 4 of “The Masked Singer”, saying, “You see that, Harp, and looking at the pair… Somewhere up, our friend Squiggly. Monster Bob Saget is smiling.”

As the camera panned to Sweetin, whose heart was his hand, Jeong exclaimed: “That’s TV.”

After being kicked out of competition two years ago, Saget spoke with TheWrap about her stint on Fox’s singing competition series, revealing that John Stamos knew about her gig, but she didn’t know about it as Candace. Had to lie to Cameron Bure.

“After the show last week, I was sent a video by Candace and Marilu Heiner in the background, and she’s screaming, ‘Are you a squiggly monster?! It’s you! I know your voice! I know your antics’ Am! You’re a squiggly monster,'” he said. “And I answered him, I said, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about. I am very happy and love you.’ But she knew. She was scared, because she loves the show because it is a show that you can watch with your whole family. ,
