Music director Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP is one of the few music makers who has explored India’s various film industries, making him a true pan-Indian composer. He has numerous hit cinema hits in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada making him one of the most sought after music composers in India. The music composer will record one of his songs in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan starring Salman Khan. It was previously reported that the music composer would do the entire album for the film, but had to divorce after that. Now the album will be done by different composers.

Salman and his team weren’t exactly happy with the songs composed by the musician for the film. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood HungamaDevi Sri Prasad clarified once again that he was not supposed to do the full album for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. DSP said: “Actually I already cleared up this confusion, but it was never the whole album. It should never have been mine because by the time they approached me they had already made a few songs. But Farhad Samji told me the whole script I needed to know, because I want to know the vibe of ‘what they did’, ‘what they didn’t do’, ‘what part should I do?’ But when he told me, it was a little bit more songs. But in the end, because of the length of the film and everything, he told me that the number of songs itself has decreased.”
He continued: “But then we did a great dance number for Salman Khan – a very odd number. I think it’s going to catch up. I saw the video recently the way they shot is brilliant. Last week, like five, six days back, we also met Salman Bhai and there is such a beautiful choreography.”
Bollywood Hungama had also reported that DSP is teaming up with Yo Yo Honey Singh for the first time in the film. “In fact, this will be the first time we’ll see such a blockbuster trio for a song,” a source said. Now, in his latest interview, one excited DSP revealed, “We did it for the first time and I always just love his songs. He loved my music too and we ended up doing some kind of crazy collaboration.”
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also plays Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Palak Tiwari and Raghav Juyal in pivotal roles. Venkatesh Daggubati also plays an important role in the film. The release is scheduled for December 30, 2022.
Meanwhile, Devi Sri Prasad released his first-ever non-film Hindi single’O Pari’ and Ranveer Singh launched the song earlier this week. He also composes for Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2. He is also collaborating with Rohit Shetty on circusAllu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The RuleVarun Dhawan-Janhvi Kapoor’s Bawaal and Suriya42.
