Ezra Miller reportedly shot more of The Flash last week

According to new reports, Ezra Miller has been back in front of the camera to shoot more for The flash. While the news about the film, and indeed the beleaguered star, has been pretty quiet lately, in recent weeks some new rumors have surfaced about Henry Cavill’s possible inclusion of Superman in the film. While those reports have not been confirmed, something certainly seems to be happening with the film if the cover reported that Miller had been back on set since last week to film several new scenes.

Sure, there are plenty of DC and Marvel movies that reshoot late in the day when they need to, so there’s a possibility these new scenes are just some minor improvements, especially with the Warner Bros. apparently only lasts one day. This wouldn’t be the first set of shots shot for the film, with Miller said to have completed other additional scenes earlier in the year. Of The flash doesn’t hit theaters until next year, there’s still time to make more changes to the film.

Warner Bros. Discovery has assisted Ezra Miller through some high-profile scandals, but where? The flash leads for the actor is currently unknown. However, so is the majority of the current Justice League, with no one looking to be safe in the franchise’s mighty turmoil that began this summer.

The flash Reportedly received high praise in test screenings

The DCEU is not the franchise it is meant to be, that has become very clear in recent years. Despite all that, Warner Bros. Discovery previously revealed that they are trying to come up with a “Marvel-style” ten-year plan for the franchise, and everything seems to start with The flash.

The film was once expected to be the end of the DCEU as it is and a purge of everything that had been brought from Zack Snyder’s original plans for the franchise. Now, even that isn’t as clear-cut as it once seemed, with the movie now featuring both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton’s Batman and possibly an appearance by Henry Cavill reprising his Superman role. How much of this is true is something fans can only wait to find out, but it looks like the future of the DCEU will definitely change from its original path.

Some people believed that Ezra Miller’s private life could jeopardize the film’s release, but for now, the film still seems on track for release next year, aided by what’s been called some exceptionally good initial response from test screenings. There’s still a way to go until The flash cinema hits, and Warner Bros. Discovery hopes to avoid further drama in the meantime. What happens next is currently a guess.
