Bigg Boss 16 fans were against the creators for bringing Sajid Khan to the show. They have said there was no need to give such a big platform to the filmmaker who has been accused by more than nine women in the #MeToo scandal. People were even angry that Sajid Khan got the support of Shehnaaz Gill, who has a very clean image. In recent days, even Shilpa Shinde has hinted that people should let go of the past with Sajid Khan and focus on good things. Now Sajid Khan has received support from none other than Lock Upp finalist Payal Rohatgi.
In her Insta stories, Payal Rohatgi wrote that Sajid Khan claimed he wronged six women according to the victims’ stories. She said Sajid Khan faced immense flak and public humiliation after what happened. She said the six women could take Sajid Khan to court. Payal Rohatgi further wrote, “But let me write it down when even murderers have been given the right to reform by the values of Mahatma Gandhi, then even Sajid Khan has the right to live here. He has the right to earn money. He has the right to repent.”
Looks like she did a dig at Mandana Karimi. The Iranian-born actress and model had apparently said she didn’t want to be part of Bollywood if people like Sajid Khan were given a chance to mend themselves. She went on to write on her Insta story: “Let him fight for his right. You resist him, but don’t do the drama of leaving Bollywood.” It should be noted that Mandana Karimi said she was misquoted when quitting Bollywood part. The actress has spoken out about the issues Iranian women are facing right now.
