No role other than that of the show’s lead actress. Rupali is now known as Anupamaa as the show has reached number one on the TRP charts. Of course, Rupali Ganguly’s popularity has increased tenfold. Speaking of the TV show Anupamaa, last week it topped the TRP charts. It received a rating of 2.8. The show is followed by Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Ayesha Singh starring Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
The current storyline of Anupamaa is that Rupali Ganguly fights against her son Toshu who cheated on his wife Kinjal, played by Nidhi Shah. The drama centers on Toshu who goes to great lengths to reunite with Kinjal, even if it means kidnapping their child.
