Ken Jeong Audition for Phantom of the Opera

Ken Jeong is actually getting into character for Andrew Lloyd Webber night on “The Masked Singer.”

In an exclusive clip shared with TheWrap ahead of Wednesday night’s episode, the judges themselves take the stage to audition for “The Phantom of the Opera” in front of the English musician. She even dressed for the occasion with the iconic white masquerade mask and a black cape.

While his performance begins on a “delicate” note, as fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger puts it, he quickly turns to rapping the lyrics—and a few words.

“No, no, no,” says Weber, before host Nick Cannon calls off the performance, telling Jeong: “Can you stop embarrassing yourself in front of Andrew Lloyd Webber?”

But Robin Thicke quickly chimes in that he thought Jeong’s audition was “some great acting”. [he’s] ever done.”

However, canon does not have it, jokingly stating that Weber should be taken to his seat before Jeong himself “out of the building”.

You can watch the full clip above ahead of Wednesday night’s show. Two new celebrity singers are entering the contest this week, when all contestants will perform songs from Weber’s music catalog from “The Phantom of the Opera” to “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
