Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt had announced her pregnancy after 2 months of marriage. While her fans showered her with love and blessings, some of the netizens mocked her for getting pregnant before the wedding. Although Alia did not respond to the criticism, her sister Shaheen Bhatt has broken her silence on the matter.
Shaheen Bhatt Responds to Trolls Questioning Alia Bhatt’s Pregnancy; says “you can never really please everyone”
Shaheen spoke to News18 and addressed the matter, saying, “I will not speak for her (Alia) because that is her own journey. Everything she’s tackled internally is entirely her journey. That said, you can never really please everyone.
She went on to explain: “There will always be some negative comments. And I think when we’re out in the open, we’re all very practiced in knowing what to look for and what not to focus on. ”
Finally, Shaheen said: “It has been a great year for our family in that sense. It has grown tremendously in the past year. There is only more joy and happiness coming our way and I am looking forward to that.”
For the inexperienced, Alia married her longtime beau and actor Ranbir Kapoor on April 14, 2022. The wedding took place at Ranbir’s residence in Mumbai in an intimate ceremony. Two months after their wedding, the couple announced that they were pregnant in June. Alia shared on Instagram a photo of herself lying on a hospital bed with Ranbir next to her.
On a professional level, the future actress was last seen in the dream project of Ayan Mukerji Brahmastra, opposite Ranbir. The film, which was released on September 9, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.
Talking about her upcoming projects, she has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film, starring Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Ranveer Singh, is slated for release in 2023. On the other hand, Ali is also preparing for her Hollywood debut film Heart of stone. It features Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan and Sophie Okonedo, among others. The film will premiere on Netflix in 2023.
