Karva Chauth is a much celebrated occasion in India, especially in the north, and holds special significance in the lives of married Hindu women. For a happy married life and the longevity of their husbands, women strictly observe the fast and only break it when the moon rises late in the evening. While the celebrations in Bollywood have been restrained for the past two years, this year the stars were seen enjoying the day with their better halves.

As every year, celebrities gathered at Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor’s residence for the celebrations.
Bollywood celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Neelam Kothari, Padmini Kolhapure, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Natasha Dalal and others also enjoyed the festivities.
Sunita Kapoor took to her official Instagram account to share the annual photos from the celebrations. “I have always believed that festivals are about faith, faith and tradition. Karwa Chauth is not only a day to fast for your husband’s long life, it is also a day when women gather to celebrate each other. So wherever you go and whatever your faith and belief, I hope you have a day full of love, warmth and celebrations,” she wrote alongside the group photo. It included Shilpa, Raveena, Neelam, Maheep, Bhavana, Padmini, Akanksha Malhotra, Rima Jain and Varun Dhawan’s wife Natasha among others.
Veteran actress Padmini Kolhapure, who also attended Sunita’s festivities, shared a video on her Instagram account where the women perform the festivities. Padmini shared the post, writing: “Wonderful Pooja Karwa Chauth, Dear Host Sunita Kapoor.”
Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty will next be seen in sukheeand in her web debut in Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police next to Siddharth Malhotra.
