Fortunately, Riordan is more than impressed with what he’s seen so far. “I have full ownership of everything that happens and I’m very happy with the results so far. It’s a huge relief, after so many years of waiting and so hard work, to see some kind of finished product and think, ‘ Oh, thank God. This works!'” Unfortunately, the music and VFX have yet to start production, which means we probably won’t see the series on Disney+ until early 2024. Until then, fans eagerly await the Percy Jackson and the Olympians adaptation Rick Riordan always wanted to make.
