Ongoing rumors and reports claiming that Man of Steel star Henry Cavill is back as Superman get DC fans to social media to celebrate — and shout Warner Bros. Pictures on to announce one Man of Steel 2. There has been speculation for some time that Cavill’s version of Superman will be brought back into the DCEU, with Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson is reportedly working hard to make it so.
In addition to the rumors of Superman’s return, many are now hoping that the studio will soon release a Man of Steel directed, of course, by Henry Cavill.
Of course, since the DC universe is the divisive franchise it is, it’s not all smiles and rainbows. Some have wondered why so many are so excited about the possible return of Henry Cavill’s Superman, while so negative about the so-called SnyderVerse.
However, the consensus seems to be hugely positive, with audiences looking forward to what the DC universe and Cavill’s Superman will do next.
There are lingering rumors that Henry Cavill will once again dress up as the… Man of Steel some time, with the most recent claiming that he will be appearing in a post-credits scene at the end of this year Black Adam – a post-credits scene that has since been leaked.

Henry Cavill never gave up on Superman’s return
