The ‘Shukravaar Ka Vaar’ increases the fear of weekly assessment among the participants of COLORS’ Bigg Boss 16. This weekend the dabangg host Salman Khan kicked off the ‘Vaar’ by taking over the house and assigning different tasks to the housemates. We saw the assortment of caustic juices with different tags on them in the living room and the participants had to give a glass with a tag to another participant and state the reason. It was interesting to see which Code Name Tiranga stars Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu will add to the drama.

This wasn’t the only revelation in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. Many shocking people went on to another task that turned out to be the evil talkers’ nightmare. Valuable items belonging to some housemates were hidden by a secret task and host Salman Khan offered them a chance to recoup their possessions if they guess who made the quoted statements. A few horrific statements by the participants made it to the guessing game. The housemates were visibly shocked to learn that those they considered their allies had stabbed them in the back at the slightest provocation.
A few days ago, it was revealed that Soundarya Sharma predicted that Ankit Gupta’s mother will not be very happy if Priyanka Chahar Choudhary becomes the “bahu” of the Gupta family. Priyanka suspected that Soundarya was the one who made this statement. A heated argument ensued between Priyanka-Ankit and Soundarya. Salman Khan also had some interesting tidbits to share with the trio. The round of guesses eventually caused many rifts among the participants and changed the way of politics in the house.
After a few housemates were exposed, the ‘Vaar’ was later graced by Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu, who were promoting their upcoming movie Code name: Tiranga and were introduced to the housemates. A wave of entertaining elements ensued as Abdu sang for Parineeti, MC Stan performed a spirited rap for Harrdy Sandhu and the last known also his fandom for the rapper. Shalin Bhanot grooved with Parineeti on a song from their upcoming movie.
Parineeti and Harrdy were known for her soft vocals and also sang songs in another fun task where the contestants dared to guess ‘who best describes the song’.
Later in the episode, the contestants got a reality check and it wasn’t our favorite host Salman Khan who presented it. It was distributed by contestant Sumbul Touqeer’s father, Touqeer Hasan Khan, via MeTV. He told his daughter that she doesn’t play the game and is barely seen on the show. He also said that the show should make her an inspiration to girls who want to be independent. He not only chided some housemates for spreading rumors about his daughter, but also applauded those who stood by her when needed. How these revelations will change the game remains to be seen.
Bigg Boss 16 airs Mondays and Fridays at 10pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 9.30pm on Colors.
