After Erica Fernandes, Munmun Dutta reviews Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Astraverse film – ‘Except a few weak things…’

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra may have broken Bollywood’s dry spell at the box office, but the Ayan Mukerji director has received mixed reviews from both the critics and the public. While some liked it for its high visual effects, some found the movie soulless. A few days ago, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi actress Erica Fernandes shared her review of Brahmastra and said she was not impressed. Now Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Munmun Dutta Brahmastra has reviewed and shared her opinion about it. Also Read – Dheeraj Dhoopar, Mouni Roy & More – Meet the TV Instagrammers of the Week

Munmun took it to Instagram, shared a small clip from a movie theater and said the film was flawed, but it was worth watching. She is now eagerly waiting for Brahmastra 2 to witness what happens next. “Had been to the cinema for a long time and #Brahmastra was totally worth it. Apart from a few weaknesses, I think it is really worth watching. Also it was good to see a movie by Ranbir Kapoor. Mouni Roy was excellent (heart emoji) I’m now waiting for the second part (heart emoji),” she wrote. However, she soon deleted it for the most well-known reasons. Coming back to Erica, when a fan asked the actress about her thoughts on Brahmastra during her interaction session, she said the film is definitely a milestone in terms of VFX. However, she said it was not a successful attempt and wished the actors had spent more time training rather than loading the film with visual effects. “But I wish there were more efforts to train the actors for this kind of filmmaking and not be directed by a director whose strongest point is romance,” she said.
