She accused filmmaker Sajid Khan of inappropriate behavior. She said he invited her home and gave her hopes of casting her. He started making strange demands. The actress revealed that she spoke about the incident after 14 years when she saw him in the film Bigg Boss 16 House.
Kanishka has posted a clip where she recounts the horrific experience she had with Khan in 2008. In the clip, Kanishka said she was called at Khan’s Juhu house in 2008. When she said she didn’t want to go, he assured her she didn’t have to worry because he was staying with his mom. When the actress met Sajid, he was told to show her belly.
Along with the clip, Kanishka spoke in her long note about how unsafe she feels in her own country, as these powerful people could kill her at any moment. She wrote that she is very afraid to reveal the name of the person she has spoken about in multiple interviews. She revealed that she was told to raise her top to get a part in his film. She found the courage to tell about the experience post she saw Sajid on national TV.

In the clip, the actress further revealed that she feels insecure and has no hope from the Indian laws and the government itself. She has faith only in God and knows that the Almighty will help her through the struggles she has endured. The actress also revealed that she feels that the goddess lives within her and that she is ready to punish the guilty.
