The Grand Finale of Sony Entertainment Television’s show Superstar Singer 2 will honor judges and singer Alka Yagnik with the Lifetime Achievement Award. To add a few more memories of the extravagant musical night, the reality show will feature special prizes. Yagnik will be honored for her tremendous contribution to the Indian music industry and for being a guiding force and inspiration to all participants and captains.

The 56-year-old singer said: “A big thank you to Sony Entertainment Television and the show Superstar Singer 2 for the honor. This is my second season with the show and what really makes me happy is when I give these little kids my songs so beautifully. sing for me They perform my songs so well I was left with tears of happiness I’ve always known my songs are popular but I never imagined that such young children would sing those songs so effortlessly.
She continued, adding: “I send all my blessings and love to all participants. I am overwhelmed and surprised because I did not expect this. Thank you, Adi, Sony TV and the whole team for all the love. I am touched that everyone who has accepted my vote with open arms and made me who I am today I will be forever grateful and I am delighted to receive this award from my guru who has played an important role in my journey This is really special. Thank you so much and I love you all.”
The famous music maestro – Anand ji will make this moment even more special with his presence for Alka Yagnik as he is a ‘godfather’ to her.
The show’s final episode will air on September 3 at 8 p.m. The Top 6 finalists are Mohammad Faiz from Jodhpur, Mani from Dharamkot, Pranjal Biswas from West Bengal, Sayisha Gupta from Mohali, Aryananda R Babu and Rituraj from Kerala. The episode will also see some famous guests such as Padmini Kolhapure, Poonam Dhillon, Vijay Vikram Singh, Shabbir Kumar, Sonu Kakkar and Bhoomi Trivedi along with choreographer Puneet Pathak.
