Earlier this week, news came that popular comedian Raju Shrivastava had been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack. Currently admitted to AIIMS hospital in Delhi, reports claim the comedian’s brain failed to function normally, leading him to be kept under observation. Despite this, however, the latest update on his health was that he had shown slight movement and improved marginally. While the comedian is recovering, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, who has had many health issues in the past, decided to send Shrivastava a voicemail message wishing him a speedy recovery.

Although Shrivastava’s family has not yet made the note public, the audio clip was played for the comedian after consultation with the doctors. According to the audience clip, Amitabh Bachchan can be heard saying, “It’s enough Raju. Stand up Raju, and keep teaching us all to laugh.”
As for the comedian, social media is buzzing with rumors of his passing. However, Shrivastava’s family released a statement that read: “Dear all, Raju Srivatava ji’s condition is stable. We pray for his speedy recovery. The doctors treat him and do their best. Thanks to all benefactors for their continued love and support. Ignore any rumours/fake news going around. Please pray for him.”
