bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan turned 80 today and his style statements have always been the talk of the town, especially on his show Kaun Banega Crorepati. He is known for wearing classic ties, suits, blazers and printed ties. He has always experimented with his sartorial choices. As the megastar turns 80 today, his stylist Priya Patil is out KBC opened up about the gift she gave the legendary actor.
During an interview with ETimes, she explained what goes into making his suits. She also revealed that the actor loves the color black, so she gave him a black jacket with a tie. It will be his special birthday look. Little did the actor know that he would get a surprise from his stylist.
She further revealed the theme behind Amitabh’s look this year. Priya said India celebrated 75 years of freedom. This was the theme and hence the prize money of Rs 7.5 crores and Rs 75 lakh was included. She wanted to keep Amitabh’s appearance less formal. Priya has been styling the actor for the past eight years and also said tie-bows were a hit in the previous year. They got good reviews for that. Initially, they had different knotting techniques, so this year the actor had to wear printed scarves, something new that he wore with three-piece suits.

The intention was to give an informal look so they opted for bandh galas. Priya also revealed that the actor has worn a lot of solid colors this year. To talk about the actor, he was desired by fans worldwide. From PM Modi to Bollywood stars like Ajay Devgn, Ananya Panday, Karan Johar and many other celebs wished the legend on his birthday. I wish the megastar a very happy birthday!
