Anjum Fakih, who started her acting career in 2010, has some of the most popular shows in her cat, in which she plays a pivotal role. While her track as Shrishti took a new turn in Kundali Bhagya, the character Maitri in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 has also taken a leap. Even though both characters are completely different from each other, Anjum has shuttled between them quite well.

When asked how she switches between two characters of such different wavelengths, Anjum explains: “As an actor, you have to be willing to act and do scenes that are presented to you with complete dedication and honesty, and you have to be exceptional in your craft. And how do you do that? You learn to adapt and get inspired. You can learn so much from your co-actors. There is a very creative team to help you, not to mention, when you are under the supervision of your director, is the character you play so cut out that you won’t find it difficult to switch between characters.”
Kundali Bhagya and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain are both produced by Ekta Kapoor, also known as TV Czarina. Anjum shared her off-screen comparison with the producer: “You just enjoy working for her. On a serious note, she’s an amazing woman. She’s someone who inspires many like us. It’s a great privilege to know that a woman like her is behind me.”
For the uninitiated, Anjum plays the role of the female lead characters Preeta and Priya’s sister in Kundali Bhagya and in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. While the character of Shrishti is married to the loverboy Sameer Luthra in the Zee TV show, she is married to Priya’s ex-boyfriend Neeraj in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2.
