Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most popular sitcoms we have on Indian television. The show has been around for about 15 years now and has a loyal and fervent fan base. However, lately, the public has criticized Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah a lot. From the changes in the actors to the jokes that don’t make them laugh like before, the curious case of missing dayaben (Disha Holiday) and more has upset fans. Recently it was announced that the makers have found a replacement for Shailesh Lodha who played Taarak Mehta in Sachin Shrofflast seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. And now they are afraid of the replacement of Jethalal in other words Dilip Joshi.
Sachin Shroff makes his appearance as the new Taarak Mehta
In Entertainment News today, the creators of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah dropped a new promo featuring a glimpse of a new Taarak Mehta. Sachin Shroff of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin fame replaces Shailesh Lodha as Taarak. In the promo, we see Anjali (Sunayana Fozdar) leaving the Ganpati pandal and refusing to participate in any celebrations. As she leaves, Anjali hears someone performing Aarti. The people of Gokuldham are just as shocked as Anjali. While we don’t see the whole face of Sachin Shroff as the new Taarak, the glimpse is enough for the fans to understand that he is not Shailesh Lodha. Fans are unhappy and fear Jethalal’s replacement
Fans of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have been quite unhappy with all the changes in the actors for a while now. A lot has changed in the cast in recent years. With Sachin’s new entry as Taarak, fans are quite upset and have called for a boycott. They don’t want Taarak changed. Fans complain in the comments section that they only want the old Taarak. And some have even expressed fears that Dilip Joshi, aka Jethalal, will be replaced because he’s been absent from the show for a while.
There are reports that the creators are also looking for a new Dayaben as Disha Vakani has once again embraced motherhood. She welcomed a baby boy a few months ago. When the creators brought the twist to bring a new Dayaben, the public felt fooled when they put up a standee of Daya.
