Bachelor Nation tuned in to see which couples survived the week apart, earning the highest ratings of the night
The reunion of “Bachelor in Paradise” from “Split Week,” a week-long period that sent the original women away while the new women wooed the men on the beach, earned a rose Tuesday night for ABC, as the network occupied the first place. According to data from Nielsen’s Live Plus same-day, advertiser-prestigious 18-49 demographic.
As fans tune in to see which couple will stay together after weeks of suffering for some and romance for others, Bachelor Nation this week slightly raised ABC’s primetime rating from 0.47 last week to 0.50. And carried on this week with the drawing in 2.3. million average viewers compared to last week’s 2.2 million average viewers.

Beginning strongly at 8 p.m., “Bachelor in Paradise” received a demo rating of 0.63 – the highest rating of the night – during its two-hour episode and averaged 2.6 million viewers. ABC ended the night at 10 p.m. with a new episode of “The Rookie: Fade,” which closed out a 0.24 rating and attracted an average audience of 1.9 million.
Here’s how primetime fell short at the major broadcasters:
NBC ranked second in ratings with an average rating of 0.42 in the main demo, and finished second in total viewership with an average of 4.1 million viewers. The final night of Battle Rounds on “The Voice” drew the highest viewership of the evening with an average viewership of 5.9 million and a rating of 0.62 in the 8 o’clock hour. Subsequently, ‘La Brea’ earned a rating of 0.35 and brought in 3.5 million viewers. At 9 p.m., the network rounded out the night with “New Amsterdam”, which saw a rating of 0.27 and an average viewership of 2.9 million.
CBS ranked third in ratings with an average of 0.35 in demos, while earning first place in overall viewership with an average of 4.4 million viewers. The “FBI” franchise-filled evening began with the network’s highest ratings and viewership at 8 p.m., when “FBI” garnered a rating of 0.41 and attracted an average of 5.5 million viewers. The “FBI” spinoff garnered viewers throughout the night, as “FBI: International” received a 0.35 rating and brought in an average of 4.1 million viewers at 9 p.m., and “FBI: Most Wanted” earned a rating of 0.29 and viewership. was 3.7. million on average.
Fox ranked fourth in the demo with an average of 0.30 in ratings and third in terms of total viewership with an average of 2.4 million viewers. The network began the evening with a new episode of the medical drama “The Resident,” which earned a rating of 0.38 and attracted an average of 3.0 million viewers. At 9 p.m., Fox premiered a new episode of “Monarch”, which received a rating of 0.21 and average viewership of 1.7 million views.
The CW ranked fifth in ratings with an average of 0.07 in the demo and with an average of 400,000 viewers in total. “The Winchesters” received a rating of 0.07 and attracted an average of 551,000 viewers at 8 o’clock, while “Professionals” received a rating of 0.05 and 249,000 average viewers at 9 o’clock.
Neither The CW nor Fox air primetime programming at 10 p.m.
In terms of Spanish-language networks, Univision came in first with a 0.4 rating in demo and 1.5 million overall average viewers in primetime. At 8 p.m. “Vensor La Ausenia” received a demo rating of 0.4 and average viewership of 1.4 million. Next was “Los Ricos Tambien Loran”, which got 0.5 in the demo and 1.7 million total viewers. “La Madras” ended the night with 0.4 in ratings and an average of 1.4 million viewers.
Telemundo came in second in terms of ratings in demo and overall average viewers, as the network garnered a 0.2 rating for the night and 902,000 average total viewers. “La Reina del Sur” brought in an average rating of 0.4 and 1.1 million total viewers, and “El Fuego del Destino” closed the night in the demo with a rating of 0.2 and an average total viewership of 721,000.
