Bigg Boss 16 will apparently go on air from October 2, 2022. Salman Khan’s controversial reality show will be filmed in Mumbai, and its creators are locking up contestants. There are reports that Bangladeshi actress and Lok Sabha member Nusrat Jahan has been approached for the show. The stunner is considering being part of the season. But the channel and representatives of the actress are keeping their lips tight on the development. Bigg Boss is always trying to get celebrities from regional industries as we have seen with Shehnaaz Gill, Himanshi Khurana, Sapna Chaudhary, Monalisa and so on. Nusrat Jahan is a household name in Bengali movies and her life has also made headlines.
The actress is mother to a young son, Yishaan. She is in a relationship with actor Yash Dasgupta, and their son was born last year. Nusrat Jahan and Yash are yet to get married. There were even rumors that Bangladeshi star Jeet would do the OTT version of Bigg Boss, but he immediately denied the gossip. Nusrat Jahan’s agenda is quite full of movies, ad shoots and other projects. We got to see how she manages to get dates for a three month show. Nusrat Jahan also has a young child.
The other contestants whose names are doing the rounds are Faisal Shaikh, Munawar Faruqui and Kanika Mann. It seems these three have given a nod to the show. Nusrat Jahan has a long career in Bengali films. She made news when her marriage to Nikhil Jain, the owner of Rangoli sarees, broke down. The actress said that they were not legally married (formal registration) and therefore a divorce was not necessary. Both sides accused each other. She had claimed that he had used her money, which he denied. Nikhil Jain had filed an application for annulment in the court of Kolkata.
