The two girls decide to isolate themselves completely from the community and must create and establish a world of their own. When they run into trouble, they’re forced to make a decision that tests their bond as sisters and what they want from the life they lead.

We all recognize Wright for her role as Shuri, princess of Wakanda and King T’Challa’s genius, clever sister. Among the MCU projects, Wright has been part of her role Avengers: Infinite War is certainly one to consider. Shuri is full of life and an integral part of helping our heroes defeat Thanos. In this movie, Shuri was in charge of extracting the Mind Stone from Vision.

This is based on the harrowing truth story of The Mangrove Nine, where Wright plays Trinidadian restaurant owner Altheia Jones-LeCointe. The character of Shuri is first introduced in 2018 Black Panther. Wright brings this character to life, and her dynamic alongside the late Chadwick Boseman as King T’Challa was nothing short of fantastic. Wright made Shuri witty, funny, reliable and quick on his feet. Black Panther‘s impact on the superhero genre and society at large has changed the industry in ways we can’t fathom. It put Wright on the map, and this role remains defining in her career to this day.

Aisha was released in 2022. In this film, Wright plays a woman from Nigeria who wants to immigrate, but gets stuck in the Irish immigration system. Over the years, Aisha begins to develop a friendship/relationship with a man who works in a shelter. This movie is beautiful, Letitia Wright is breathtaking, and if the 100% on Rotten Tomatoes is not enough to convince you, take this as your sign.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is one of Marvel’s most highly anticipated films to date. After Chadwick Boseman’s tragic passing, the writers, producers, director and cast had to construct a story that continues his legacy and honors his memory. Wakanda forever is packed with heart and emotion. The movie introduced fans to an incredible new villain. Additionally, Wright took the lead of the franchise with grace and poise, and is easily one of the best from Marvel and in all of Wright’s filmography.
